I’m Deedee

I’m a wife, mother, artist and nature lover. I seek authenticity, but I’m also a realist who totally gets the need for good posing and the occasional photoshopping. I also seek humor, because as Buddy the Elf says, “I like smiling, smiling’s my favorite.” I almost always include images in my clients’ galleries that give me a laugh.

You might have noticed from my images that I really, really, really like sunlight, but I also love the challenge of working with shadows. A concept that drives my work is that there is a crack in everything, and that’s how the light gets in. Light can’t reach you without that imperfection, so embrace it!
